All Break the Cycle! Web articles and guidebooks are based on the ideas below. If you disagree with these ideas, what do you believe? ● Adults and kids live in and join groups to fill a hierarchical range of personal needs. Nurturance means "filling needs." ● High-nurturance families and organizations display unique traits, so they can be judged to be "low nurturance" to "high nurturance." ● A group's nurturance level significantly affects the wholistic health, development, and behavior of each group member. ● Any group's nurturance level depends on who guides the leaders' personalities, and their awareness, priorities, and leadership skills. ● Typical unaware survivors of low-nurturance childhoods (a) endure significant false-self wounds, (b) repeatedly choose wounded partners and associates, (c) often choose human-service occupations, (d) unconsciously seek or create low-nurturance workplaces; and (e) pass on the [wounds + unawareness] cycle; and... ● Typical wounded adults and kids will repress, justify, or deny that these pre-mises (a) apply to them and toxically affect their (b) wholistic health and longevity and (c) social and professional relationships, success, and contentment. |
