Free Re/marriage-preparation Course

        One of five hazards typical unaware stepfamily couples face is making up to three unwise re/marital choices. Based on co-parent Projects 1-7, this proven course empowers couples alone or in a group make wise remarital decisions. Download a leader's guide, module outlines and options, rele-vant resources, and suggested visual aids. The course has a textbook and seven 1.5 to 2-hour sessions:

1) Introductions, and seminar overview and administration

2) Co-parents assess for and reduce any false-self wounds

3) Learn effective-communication basics and skills

4) Learn healthy- grieving basics, and reduce any blocked grief in kids and co-parents

5) Learn stepfamily implications, hazards, protections, and realistic expectations

6) Stepfamily mission statements and co-parent job descrip-tions, (responsibilities) based on assessing stepkids' unique needs

7) How to make three wise re/marriage choices; three long-term success keys, and closing the seminar; and...

8) A stand-alone, 3-hour stepfamily role-play for 12 or more people.
